According to the Occupational Health and Safety First Aid Regulations, section 4. (4) ”Where more than one but less than 15 workers are engaged on one shift an employer shall ensure that one of the workers holds a valid emergency first aid certificate unless an officer directs that a higher certificate is necessary.”
