Having a proactive and reactive approach to mental health in the workplace is an essential component of building a healthy and high performing workforce.

DMC is excited to announce our new line of service to combat the increasing mental health related claims we have seen within our own clients and in the wider environment in the last number of years. In order to decrease the number and duration of claims we see we have brought on a Psychological Health Consultant to advise our Disability Management team on complex cases. From that we have expanded to offer Psychological Health Consultancy services to make this service more easily accessible to organizations. This has enabled us to help organizations create a well-rounded approach to mental health within the workplace and address mental health issues from a top-down approach. Our goal with this line of service is to help our clients reduce the volume of mental health claims occurring by implementing proactive measures in the workplace that reduce the risk of psychological harm,  and allow the workplace to properly facilitate of safe return to work  after they have occurred.

Our Approach

Our Psychological Health Consultant will work with you to determine the right approach for your organization and the elements needed to create an effective mental health strategy. This might mean evaluating and revising policies, leadership development, adjusting strategies and approaches in response to policies or implementing proper education and training for staff and management.
