Ergonomic Assessments & Job Site Analysis
Providing a safe, healthy, and comfortable work environment is critical whether working in-office or at home.
Job Site Analysis
A job site analysis (JSA) is an on-site evaluation used to determine the essential tasks of a position as well as the physical and/or cognitive demands required to perform each job task.
A JSA is an important tool used in rehabilitation and return to work planning. The JSA can be used to determine if the employee is safe to return to work and can also be used to identify appropriate modified/transitional duties. JSAs can be conducted proactively before an injury occurs. This practice allows for timely access to job specific information in the case of an injury and assists in identifying available modified duties early on.
DMC's Job Site Analyses are performed by a Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist or Kinesiologist and a detailed report is provided.

Ergonomic Assessments
An ergonomic assessment is an evaluation of a workspace to maximize productivity and reduce the risk of pain or injury by adapting the work environment to meet the physical needs of the worker.
DMC’s workstation reviews are completed by either a Physiotherapist or Kinesiologist who will assess the workspace to gather information regarding job demands, job design, the physical environment and the organization of job tasks. A report will be provided following the assessment with recommendations to remove any potential hazards.
Virtual Ergonomic Assessments
DMC is thrilled to now offer virtual ergonomic assessments to better suit the needs of your business, boost productivity, and protect your employees from injury and discomfort.
Whether your employees are remote or in-office, we’ve got you completely covered. Our virtual ergonomic assessments enables our professionals to speak with the employee and do a workstation evaluation all via video conference. After the appointment you will be provided with a report detailing the recommended changes and any necessary equipment to improve the workstation.
